These monitoring targets are fully realised in the Glucose Pattern Insights report which uses the accumulated FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus sensor glucose data to create an Ambulatory Glucose Profile or AGP.
The AGP – understanding glucose trends and glucose variability
What is the AGP?
The Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP) is an internationally recognised way of summarising and visualising large amounts of glycaemic data in a clinically meaningful format.1
The AGP displays glucose readings from many days or weeks as if they had all occurred on a single 24-hour period – the so-called ‘modal’ day.
With the AGP it’s possible to identify times associated with greater risk of hypoglycaemia or unwanted glucose variability.
